GOOD NEWS: Christie de Rama-Faux will soon be a grandmother for the first time. #2 son, Leland and his beautiful wife, Catherine, are awaiting the August 28 birth of their daughter----well, give or take a couple of weeks, of course, just in time to celebrate their first anniversary which is on August 13. They are so thrilled and happy. They live in Wymount Terrace just like we did when Kurt was in law school. Leland is on partial scholarship at the Y majoring in Economics. Catherine is an English major also at the Y. She is from Salem, Utah---and Karen Boothe, Steve's wife, was her YW leader! What a small world! Needless to say, we are all excited for the big day. What will the beautiful baby call her glamorous glam-ma? Why, Lola, of course! (Lola means grandmother in Tagalog....pretty ain't it?)Update: Lucy will call her grandma "mimi". Yeah!
